Eugene Wen is the Vice President and Global Chief Data Scientist of Manulife Financial. He is responsible for building priority AI solutions, R&D for AI, developing global data science talent, and fostering partnerships with universities and the AI research community. Eugene is passionate about using data and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. His current focus is on Generative AI applications in business.
Prior to his current position, Eugene served as the Vice President for Group Advanced Analytics at Manulife, and the Vice President and Chief Statistician at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) of Ontario.
